Rental Policy — Gleam Boutique
1. Rental Duration & Delivery
Duration Options
- 3 days for regular occasions within Amman.
- 5 days for clients travelling outside Jordan or for weddings held outside Amman.
Late Return Fees
Late fees are enforced strictly. If you miss your return deadline, a penalty of 50 JOD per piece, per day late will be charged.
Start & End Day
- The rental period begins on the day you receive the dress — which should be the day before your occasion.
- The rental period ends when the dress is returned by 3:00 PM the day after your occasion.
Buffer Period
An internal store policy (shown as "Unavailable" on the website): a mandatory 24–48 hour window is reserved after every return to inspect, dry-clean, and prepare each piece for the next client without delay.
2. Fit & Size Guarantee
- Dresses can be booked based on the actual measurements listed in our Size Chart. We publish the real measurements for each individual piece to ensure the perfect fit.
- Clients can try on and reserve a dress online after visiting our boutique, located in Um Uthaina, Amman, Jordan (location available on the home page).
- Minor alterations are permitted, provided the confirmed booking is placed on our website 5–10 days before the occasion to allow time for a fitting appointment at the boutique.
Note: Changing the design or structure of a dress — in part or in full — is strictly prohibited. No additional charge applies except in exceptional cases.
When a booking and payment are completed through our website, the Gleam team will contact you directly to confirm there are no additions or changes required to the dress.
3. Damage, Stains & Insurance
Refundable Damage Waiver
A mandatory damage waiver of approximately 50 JOD – 250 JOD (depending on the dress model) is added to the rental fee. This amount covers accidental damage or incidents that may occur during the rental period.
Our most important rule: you wear the dress — we handle the professional restoration and dry-cleaning.
Clients are strictly prohibited from attempting to wash, iron, sew, or repair the dress themselves. Any attempt to remove stains using household products may set the stain permanently and damage the fabric, making the client fully liable.
Total Loss or Irreparable Damage
If the dress suffers irreparable damage (burns, large tears, stubborn stains such as ink or heavy oils) or is lost, the full damage waiver amount will be deducted.
What Is Not Covered
The damage waiver does not cover total and irreparable damage, complete loss, or theft of the dress. In the event of total damage or non-return, an amount up to the full original retail value of the dress will be charged to the bank card registered with us.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation
- If the renter cancels more than 24 hours after confirming the booking, the rental fee and deposit are non-refundable.
- If the cancellation is initiated by the boutique, a full refund will be issued using the same payment method used at booking.
Rescheduling & Swapping
- The renter may change the booking date within 48 hours only of the original booking confirmation.
- The renter may not swap or exchange a confirmed dress for a different piece.
